About the role Our Operational Engineers support the ongoing delivery of operations projects in accordance with the Verbrec Project Delivery Platform (VPDP) and support our pipeline operations teams. Their role encompasses all aspects of successful operations management including cost, schedule, risk, MOC, Procedure development, fault finding and stakeholder engagement, to ensure operations projects are delivered on time and on budget, whilst meeting both Verbrec's and the Client's expectations.

The Role also provides design and operating asset engineering technical capability to assist Verbrec Infrastructure Services to achieve effective delivery of its infrastructure projects from conceptual design through to detailed design, execution, and commissioning; and maintain the integrity of the assets that Verbrec operates:

Execute work in accordance with the VPDP, under the direction of the National Operations Manager or Project Delivery ManagerAssist in the preparation of proposals for gas pipeline operations projectsResponsible for identifying and incorporating stakeholder requirements into projects including:Scope requirements and limitsClient supplied documents and drawingsReporting requirementsKey Performance IndicatorsAS2885 and DMIRS approvals processesMonitor progress on all assigned projects, utilising earned value management to present an accurate project statusUnderstand cost and schedule performance on assigned projects, and support the implementation of measures to control project performanceIdentify and document potential risks and be involved in the development of effective mitigation strategiesInvoice management including; managing the review, issuing and following up of client invoices, and invoice management for sub-contractsMonitoring SCADAUndertaking MOCs for operational projects to control the change to the pipeline infrastructureEmergency response support for the operational assetsAbout you To be successful in this role, you will ideally have following:

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent and 3+ years' experience in the Oil and Gas industryExperience with AS2885 and DMIRS approvalsExperience with AS2885 Pipeline Suite of Documents (Maintenance Plans, Isolation Plans, Integrity Management Plans etc)Ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues and develop strategies for delivering solutionsExperience with the operations of high-pressure gas pipelines in accordance with AS2885.3Experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring projectsHighly developed communication, team, and interpersonal skillsWorking within the policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Verbrec HSE and Quality Management Systems including The Verbrec WayThe new Verbrec brand represents our evolution and continued growth by leveraging emerging techniques and technologies for the benefit of our clients.
