Located in Brisbane / Melbourne/Canberra/Sydney (some travel required)Full time permanent opportunityFlexible Hybrid Work including WFHSummary As Strategic Service Capabilities Manager, you will drive articulation of our long-term service capabilities and plans to enact the enterprise strategy. This role is instrumental in defining, assessing and planning future capability requirement across multiple domains and will provide expert guidance on future service options.

The Role & The Team You will be required to (but not limited to)

Develop Service concepts and lead the development of Line of Business Service Strategies aligned to Airservices aspirations.Lead Service design and prototyping activities from opportunity identification to facilitation of Concept development and Validation.Facilitate the ongoing monitoring of strategic plans, ensuring they remain adaptable to changing conditions, opportunities, or threats.Develop and maintain key strategic partnerships with National and International governmental agencies, strategic suppliers, and other relevant organisations.Assess the impacts on waxing and waning traffic forecasts and recommend strategies to ensure optimum service delivery.Monitor changes in the aviation ecosystem and recommend any changes to Service strategies as required.Please see the link below to view the full Position Description: Demonstrated ability to assist with interpreting the organisation's business and strategic objectives in defining scope to deliver against those objectives, including strategic options, costs, risks and benefitsStrong experience in Airservices operations, contributing to strategy with highly developed skills in framing and solving strategic problemsSkilled in synthesising and communicating insights from complex information/analysis to inform strategic decision makingDeep experience and knowledge/thought leadership in service strategy with the ability to develop and present innovative solutions and influence outcomesProven leadership capabilities in leading cross functional teams of subject matter experts to articulate and clarify operational conceptsCommunication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence strategic decision making with diverse stakeholders (e.g. Executive, senior leaders)Proven experience in managing risk and developing contingency plans to mitigate potential challengesDemonstrated understanding of ICAO future roadmaps including ICAO ASBUs and GATMOC (Highly Desirable)At Airservices Australia, we embrace and thrive on diversity of thought, perspectives, and capabilities because we know the benefits of having a workforce that is representative of the community that we serve.
