We provide a wide range of services from constructing new buildings to upgrading and renovating existing ones. We also assist in rapid response to disasters and hazards to safeguard Queenslanders. We are committed to training and mentoring QBuild apprentices, offering them high-quality education and guidance.Duties that you may undertake throughout the apprenticeship: Receive hands-on training by working with experienced painters on different projects.Learn painting skills like preparing surfaces, mixing paint, applying it correctly, and finishing.Assess surfaces for repair, cleaning, and priming before painting.Assist in handling and storing painting materials and equipment.Follow safety rules to keep themselves and others safe at work.Match paint colours accurately to meet client preferences.Ensure quality painting work by maintaining coverage, consistency, and cleanliness.Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients about project details and progress. To be successful in this role you must have: Eligibility to work in Australia (Permanent residency)Have completed year 10 with a pass in Maths and English Be able to transport yourself and your tools to and from work/training sites.
