Join Our Team in Darwin! We're seeking passionate and dedicated Specialist Family Violence Practitioners to support a new family violence refuge opening in May 2024. This refuge provides crucial crisis support, safety, and recovery services for women and children.Role Overview: Position: Specialist Family Violence PractitionerLocation: Darwin, Northern Territory Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing contractSalary: SCHADs 5 pay point ($93,000 - $98,000 + super)Responsibilities: Provide specialised support and intervention to women and children experiencing family violence. Collaborate with a dedicated team to create a safe and supportive refuge environment. Conduct assessments, develop tailored support plans, and deliver trauma-informed care. Work closely with community partners to ensure comprehensive support for clients.Requirements: Bachelors in social work, psychology, counselling, or related field. Demonstrated experience in supporting individuals and families impacted by family violence. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
