Calling All Youth Enthusiasts! Become a Program & Events Maestro as a Youth Support Extraordinaire! This role entails crafting, guiding, executing, and assessing diverse programs and activities tailored for young individuals throughout the municipality, in collaboration with the Youth Services team. You'll be spearheading the involvement of programs and events across the spectrum offered by Stonnington Youth Services. Key Duties: Provide immediate assistance, information, and referrals to specialized services and programs for youth and their families. Oversee the coordination of programs, activities, and events within the youth services space, ensuring efficient operations. Devise, plan, and execute a diverse range of programs, activities, and events tailored to young people's needs and interests. Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of programs. Actively engage with local recreational and social resources, promoting participation to enhance youth social connections and well-being. This is a full-time permanent role, with an annual salary ranging between $, - $, +% Superannuation. You will be based in our Middle Years and Youth Services Unit located at Grattan Gardens Community Centre, Prahran. Desired Skills and Experience Requirements for success: Experience in group facilitation and school settings Proficient project management abilities Capability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Aptitude for holistic engagement with youth using trauma-informed and strengths-based methodologies Establishing and nurturing partnerships with stakeholders Demonstrated proficiency in providing case management support and activity-based programs for young individuals
