Inventory Controller

DEFENCE | CONSULTANCY | NV1 REQUIRED | $110K - $120K INCLUSIVE Position This role sits within one of Melbourne's Defence Consultancies, specialising in assisting the Australian Defence sector with procurement decisions.

This position requires a strong background of the Defence Supply Chain Logistics, and experience with the Logistics Information Management System (MILIS).

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

Collaborate with the team to manage stock movements efficiently. Engage in activities to meet capability needs and forecast future inventory requirements related to material logistics and asset management. Utilise expertise to analyse supply chain data, identify issues, and proactively recommend courses of action. Assist in planning and coordinating procurement activities. Handle receipt and issuance of stock at the appropriate delegation level. Generate Quality Management Procurement (QMP) reports, address MILIS data corruption, and manage NSN data settings. Experience required Minimum of NV1 security clearance . SPO Inventory Controller profile. Familiarity with supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics. Ability to analyse supply chain data, identify patterns, and propose solutions. Understanding of procurement planning and coordination. Effective communication skills to resolve queries and collaborate with stakeholders. Familiarity with reviewing contract deliverables.
