THE OPPORTUNITY: Our Health & Safety department is continuing its expansion at our Pilgangoora Lithium operation, and we now have additional opportunities for a motivated Superintendent - Health & Safetyto join our great team.

This role will see you leading a team to provide fit-for-purpose health and safety services to the site to professional standards. This role requires a constant focus on providing the business context/understanding to the team, and on developing the capability of the team to provide "best in class" safety.

This is a permanent full-time position, on a FIFO (8:6/4:3) roster from Perth, WA

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide specialist health and safety advice and support to the Head of Health & Safety, and other staff to assist with risk management and decision-making activities. Apply Health and Safety practises and initiatives on site that lead to achieving Health and Safety objectives and targets Support the HST team and the business to effectively and consistently apply and review risk management processes Review or assist in accident and incident investigations and ensuring investigations are completed to a quality that will ensure root causes are identified and corrective actions are in place to prevent a recurrence. Analyse and trend health and safety performance and ensure site operations are communicated with that assist the operation with implementation of safety in the field Review a view a register a random selection of events in INX to ensure quality etc. ABOUT YOU: Bachelor Degree from a tertiary institution, in Safety and Health or a related discipline Multi-discipline experience across all HSET areas Legislative Compliance Safety Data Interpretation & Analysis Advanced PC skills and computer literacy i.e. Microsoft applications mainly excel/word Experience in Incident Investigation (ICAM certification - Essential Factors preferred) Previous experience in an emergency response team Technical Writing WHAT WE OFFER Great people and culture are at the heart of our great Australian Company.
