Every day, growers around the world turn to our products and our people to help with the challenges of fighting disease, weeds and pests and to increase crop yields.Based in our head office in Laverton North, Nufarm is currently looking to recruit a Group Financial Reporting Manager who will hold the key responsibility for the timely and accurate completion of the company's external financial reports. The position will work closely with the group's regional finance teams, auditors, as well as other external advisors and internal stakeholders. The job incumbent will also be responsible for guiding group regional finance teams on the implementation of group accounting policies and reporting requirements. The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and will have the possibility of working in Nufarms highly flexible hybrid working arrangements.What will you be doing?Ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation and reporting for an ASX listed companyLiaising with group external auditors and other advisors on key accounting mattersSeeing to the completion of accounting papers on key audit mattersDesigning, building, implementing and testing a robust public company grade financial control environmentMaintaining and applying knowledge of IFRS accounting standardsLiaising with and guiding regional finance teams across the globeAssisting with the application of group accounting policies throughout the group's subsidiariesPreparing internal and external financial reporting for management, the board of directors, audit and risk committee, and for external service partnersDeveloping, implementing and upgrading financial systems as part of Nufarm's finance transformation projectsRepresenting the accounting function in M&A analysis and integrationOverseeing special projects as assignedWhat do you bring?CA or CPA qualified with at least 5 years' experienceExperience with Global Corporate Financial ReportingExperience with external financial reporting requirements for publicly listed companyExperience with multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction consolidationsExperience with debt capital markets and corporate tax lawsExpert in highly technical accounting areasExpert in accounting policy and accounting estimates conceptsTrack record of developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, controls and financial reporting requirementsExperience with financial modelling including valuation modellingAbility to drive projects to completion, manage competing priorities and provide guidance to the team and business on prioritizationStrong management and leadership skillsExperience working across a matrix structure with many cross functional relationshipsA creative, enthusiastic and open mindsetIf you want to be a part of a thriving, supportive environment and are inspired by the prospect of being a part of something bigger, we'd love to hear from you!We are an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity.
