Cyber Security Infrastructure Architect (Senior)

Senior Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer Great Hybrid Teamwork Culture -Sydney / Melbourne 6 month contract - with potential to extend Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedSenior Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer to join inatelecommunications environment. Thispivotal role involves safeguarding digital assets through advanced security architectures across diverse platforms, including expertise in access control systems, secure cloud deployments, and container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of robust cybersecurity infrastructures, encompassing both on-premises and cloud environments. Architect end-to-end cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Design, implement, and maintain robust access control mechanisms using TACACS+, RADIUS, and other AAA protocols to secure network and system access. Architect and secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Develop secure landing zones and implement hybrid and multi-cloud security strategies. Lead the security of containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift. Manage and optimize on-premises cybersecurity infrastructure, leveraging Dell technology and VMware. Utilize advanced networking knowledge to design secure network architectures, manage firewalls, and configure VPNs. Guide the organization in adhering to cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks) and meeting compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS). Leverage automation technologies to enhance asset and vulnerability management, and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISSA (Certified Information Systems Security Architecture) certification. Minimum of 10 years of experience in either cyber security or information security. Extensive experience in implementing and managing access control systems, including but not limited to TACACS+, RADIUS, and other AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) protocols Profound knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) encompassing secure cloud configurations, secure landing zones, hybrid, and multi-cloud security strategies Demonstrated expertise in the security of containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift. Previous experience in the telecommunications industry or banking sector is preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
