As the leader of the nursing unit/team, the Nurse Unit Manager will demonstrate their capability through their attitude, skills, behaviour and attributes which include broad nursing experience and knowledge.

Calvary Bruce Private Hospital undertakes planned (elective) and non elective surgical procedures. Calvary Bruce Private's Surgical Ward has 35 Bed ward with overnight surgical admission including General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Gynaecology, Dental, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic Surgery 

What you bring Mandatory: Registered Nurse who holds current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). Valid working rights within Australia. Demonstrated skills in leadership and senior management within a health care environment. Sound knowledge of current clinical practice, its delivery and models of care and the ability to motivate, inspire and lead staff to achieve service and professional goals. Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary management practice and the ability to lead and manage staff in an environment of change. Demonstrated skills in leadership and senior management within a health care environment. Experience in rostering; managing skill mix and care delivery models according to patient/service need.
