What is the role? We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to work with us on a large construction/mining project based in QLD. The successful candidate must be willing to FIFO to the site for the first 1-2 months initially to understand the project scope. After that, the position will be based in CBD Brisbane (Monday-Friday). The successful candidate must have construction experience and be based permanently in Brisbane. Mining experience is desirable but not essential. 

Striving to excel, this role requires a "can-do" attitude with top notch proactive people skills. This role will require someone to: Assist our client in steering through the project from start to finish and help the client through project challenges with proactive Project Management skills.  Capable of challenging the team to ensure project ON-TIME delivery. Autonomously assist the team with successful project management strategy and execution to ensure ON-TIME delivery. Confident/thorough reporting and communications to provide trust and satisfaction to all stakeholders. Who are you? A few more advantageous traits about you: 

You must have 5 -10 years of experience working in Construction as a Senior Project Manager. Fantastic organisational skills and confidence in executing what needs to be done on a daily basis.  Proficient in planning tools (P6, MS Projects) Great verbal and writing skills supported by a go-getter attitude. You prefer to proactively look for solutions rather than waiting for the answer to come. Someone who understands the importance of teamwork and appreciates the fact that we never work alone. Ability to work alongside a Project Coordinator who will be based onsite, so great communication skills is key.  If you think you are the right fit, we would love to hear from you.
