About your new role

•Lead the internal audit function, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

•Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan, focusing on critical areas such as financial controls, operational processes, and compliance.

•Conduct thorough and independent audits to identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, and compliance gaps.

•Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance the control environment.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that audit findings are effectively communicated and addressed in a timely manner.

•Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks to ensure audit strategies remain relevant and effective.

•Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans for management and relevant stakeholders.

•Participate in senior management meetings to provide insights on audit results and contribute to strategic decision-making.

About you?

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA qualification would be preferred.

•Proven experience in internal audit, with a demonstrated track record of successfully leading audit engagements.

•Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

•Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide practical recommendations.

•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

•Strong project management skills to ensure audits are completed on time and within scope.

•High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
