Job DescriptionAbout the role 

Reporting to the Head of Customer Excellence & Demand Planning, this role is responsible for the management of rolling 0-6 month horizon Demand Plan and the Facilitation of the ITP Demand Planning Process.

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of three Demand Planners Facilitation and maintenance of the rolling 0 - 6 months Demand Plan by Category & Customer break down.Ownership of ITP Planning Process & Weekly ITP Business Meetings with support from the customer demand planners.Provide guidance and review for each short-term customer demand review and the monthly Changes and KPIsFacilitation of the Forecast Collaboration Process in collaboration with A-class customersLead the ITP Demand & Supply Weekly Process including meeting facilitation detailing changes, RCA of Over and Under forecasting and Accuracy of Forecast being passed to Supply.Perform analytical tasks & Root Cause Analysis to support Forecast Accuracy and Bias Improvements with the input of the Customer Demand Planners Facilitation of Customer order Plan & Forecast Alignment Process across all customersFacilitation of Weekly & Monthly International and Local Zone Reporting & Meeting Attendance to represent ANZ Demand PlanningIdeation of Continuous Improvement Activities for Demand Planning Processes, & Systems and partnering with the Logistics CI team to execute improvementsTraining and coaching of a team of 3x short term demand planners in all of the above areas, providing guidance to them on their relevant customer accounts (Coles, Woolies, Countdown etc.Presenting demand forecasts to key stakeholder within the business including Heads of Finance, Supply Planning, Customer Demand Planning, and international Demand Excellence teamsEngaging Customers as key stakeholders including GM's and Heads of Sales across ANZAbout you Ideally min 5 years' experience in a similar role (demand planning, forecasting or supply planning)

Skills: 

Strong leadershipExcellent communication skills and confidence to hold meetings at a higher level. Story Telling and presentation skills (both building and delivering presentations)Advanced Negotiation skillsDegree qualified - ideally in Supply Chain, Operations, Demand Planning or Finance.Commercial Acumen and an analytical approach to problem solving Advanced Statistical Modelling skills and ability to work with large data setsTeam player who can work with others on a daily basis.Experience in Blue Yonder/JDA (or similar Demand Planning Systems), SAP, & Statistical Modelling IBP Process KnowledgeOur culture and benefits Together, we help provide meals to those in need through our global partnership with Rise Against Hunger.
