The opportunity: Reporting to the National Hydraulic Services Discipline Lead. The Hydraulic Services Consultant/Engineer will support the success of Acor both on a local and national basis. This career opportunity will provide you with the opportunity to apply your leadership qualities, professional engineering, and project management capabilities. The role: Manage a portfolio of projects, providing supervision, guidance, and training to junior team members.Coordinate and deliver Hydraulic Services design and documentation for a range of projects, ensuring their successful delivery. (Aged care, Healthcare, Hospitals, Retail, Residential, Defence, Industrial and Government).Develop hydraulic services design & analysis on projects, (or components of projects), design basis, scope of works specifications in accordance with industry standards (AS2500, AS2419, AS5601 etc), and engineering best practice.Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, bid evaluations, construction support activities including RFI's, submittal reviews, site visits and design revisions/change.Undertake design, construction, and investigative reporting, implementing National Standards, Codes of Practice, and industry requirement of engineering practices.Assist in identifying variations in a timely manner and reporting the impact on schedule and budget to the client or manager.Apply competency in the use of REVIT and CAD programs for the delivery of projects.Required experience and qualifications: Capable project management and technical abilities across engineering disciplines.A sound understanding of Standards and Legislation across disciplines.Well-developed Hydraulic engineering and assessment skills coupled with the ability to provide competent report writing.Sound communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.Initiative and problem-solving skills when undertaking tasks, coupled with organisational, coordination and prioritisation skills.Able to work with a team environment and autonomously and in a collaborative manner.A positive can-do attitude, punctual and reliable with a commitment to delivering excellence.Benefits of ACOR: Attractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience.Ongoing professional learning & development.Structured career pathways.Paid Parental leave.Work life balance in a flexible and inclusive environment.Regular social events and fundraising activities.Discounts on everyday products and services.100% employee-owned company.If you are a motivated individual who welcomes new challenges, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
