Description

The position will work the UHD's Virtual Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Executive Program Director and all program personnel to coordinate and oversee the day-to-day activities. This position will organize the recruitment of student volunteers and staff, manage scheduling and coordination of VITA site managers and non-student volunteers at partnering organizations, and will also prepare tax returns, review tax returns, as well as assist in generating reports for stakeholders and funding agencies.

DUTIES Reports to and assists the Executive Program Director with all aspects of project activities, especially with organization and coordination of VITA sites at partnering organizations, provides management for site coordinators, and generates reports for stakeholders and funding agencies Coordinates all data collection activities and provides necessary materials for the Executive Program Director to use in generating reports to evaluate progress on achievement of project goals and objectives This is a part-time position with team coverage on the virtual website. Some local area travel will be required This position functions in varying capacities- facilitate scheduling and assist in the organization and coordination of project activities, data collection/entry, and report generation The work performed in this position requires a regular online interface with individuals and groups from both the public and private sectors in varying positions, levels of authority, and technical expertise This position will ensure the online program is coordinated effectively and efficiently, maximizes resources, and ensures desired outcomes are achieved KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills (Spanish/English; another language/English) A demonstrated ability to work as a member of the leadership team EEO/AA
