Working at Northline Join a great team as Application Solutions Analyst where you willengage with the Northline Business Units and functional areas for the analysis, development and alignment of business improvements through IT Solutions.

You will be familiar with existing SAAS development tools and have a skill in learning new tools quickly. You will have had previous exposure to business processes and understand the correct and logical flow of information. You understand the SDLC and the importance of documentation and testing. This role is a major component in the continuous improvement of business processes through new technologies/capabilities, upgrades, or new initiatives.

Some of the challenges you will be faced with on a day-to day basis:

Analyse business requirements, work practices and interfaces across all lines of business to effect reduction in costs, efficiency improvements or delivery of additional quality outcomes.Responsible for requirements elicitation, validation and specification through which business objectives are clearly defined.Work with key stakeholders and investigate and recommend IT upgrades or solutions that match business requirements.Experience in the use no-code/Low-code solutions e.g. (WebMethodsIO, Talend, UiPath, Python, PowerApps, PowerBI) to create solutions for end-users.Prepare technical and user documentation to support IT and business improvements, technical requirements, request for proposal and proof of concept.Contribute to Business cases emphasising technology solution providing measurable business benefits and return on investment analysis.Be an active and enthusiastic member of vendor and internal work teams in the implementation of software for business initiatives.Help deliver high quality operational changes to IT Systems in accordance with business priority and the Project Management process.Coordinate data sourcing, migration, quality, design and implementation in accordance with IS Governance procedures.Identify and recommend opportunities to deliver competitive advantage through ongoing liaison with the Northline business.Contribute to the development and review of the BS Strategy, IT planning and technology roadmap.Provide 2nd level support of existing applications when required, documenting support processes and procedures for future reference. Liaise with software vendors for solutions to support issues.Perform system testing and validation of new releases of software, liaising with vendors for patches and implementation. Leadership, People and RelationshipsWho we are looking for You will bring to this role the following attributes:

Degree in Computer Science (Or equivalent experience);Experience in Transport Industry held in high regard (not essential);Relevant experience in I.T. Systems, Systems management lifecycle, or related IT fieldsBackground in systems provisioning of IT Solutions and Systems integrationExperience with delivery of operational and strategic initiatives through small to large projectsKnowledge and experience with no code/low-code SAAS solutions such as WebMethodsIO, Talend, UiPath, PowerApps, PowerBI, Python.Very strong business engagement and communication skillsAnalytical, problem-solving and decision making skills.Time management skills and ability to multitask.Ability to deal with stakeholders in a positive, courteous and respectful manner.About Northline Northline is an experienced Australian-based, global logistics business with an industry-leading national network and an international reach into more than 100 countries.
