In this role you will be able to - Lead and manage a team of environmental consultants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality environmental solutions and services Provide expert guidance and strategic direction to clients on environmental issues, regulations, and compliance Conduct thorough environmental assessments, impact studies, and audits to identify potential risks and recommend effective mitigation measures Develop and implement sustainable environmental management plans and strategies Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders Stay updated with current environmental trends, policies, and regulations to ensure compliance and inform decision-making Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering their growth and expertise Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering innovative and cost-effective environmental solutions Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Proven experience (minimum of 8 years) in environmental consulting, with a focus on managing complex projects Demonstrated expertise in environmental impact assessments, risk management, and compliance Strong knowledge of Australian environmental legislation, policies, and standards Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex environmental concepts to diverse stakeholders Leadership qualities, with experience in managing and motivating teams Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Practitioner) will be highly regarded Flexible Work - BMT genuinely believe everyone performs at their best when they have the flexibility to make working for BMT work best for you!We're officially 'flexified' with Flexa.
