Job Description Reporting to the Procurement Manager, your role will be to look after a portfolio of high value contracts. This will include;
Manage a source to contract process for the suite of goods and service agreements such as maintenance, civil and construction among othersIdentify and implement category management plans to effectively deliver value through sourcing and contract managementManage the tender process including evaluation, recommendation and awardIdentify opportunities to deliver cost savings initiatives and contracts & procurement best practiceGuide the business units through the development of procurement & contract strategy including risk management, negotiation, evaluation, award, contract drafts and supplier management The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment across multiple packages with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to an environment of change
You will be experienced in end to end contracting and procurement, particularly within major projects or category managementKnowledge and experience developing and managing procurement and contract strategiesYou will have a strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at different levelsCandidates with a management consultancy background will be looked upon favourablyYou will have a strong attention to detail while being able to work through ambiguity and often without structureCandidates who are self-driven and can take initiative to deliver innovative approaches to your own portfolio as well as the wider team will succeed in this role What's on Offer 12 month initial contractOpportunity to work on world class projects and operationsCompetitive hourly / daily rateHybrid working opportunities
