Who we're looking for We are seeking a suitability qualified and experienced Systems Engineer to join our IT team, based at our Port of Brisbane head office. In this role, you will collaborate with your fellow engineers and the broader IT team to ensure BMD's systems are working effectively and efficiently. You will utilise your technical expertise to proactively review, plan and upgrade BMD's systems to ensure our people continue to be supported by our technology and software. Configure, manage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, cloud and systems, including networking, Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory/Active Directory, SaaS, SQL and on-premise applications etc. from vendors that include Fortinet, HP, Aruba, Microsoft and VMwareReview systems for upgrades and improvementsProactively prevent faults or issues in our environmentsLiaise with suppliers, service providers, contractors, and consultants to help provide the best outcomes for our businessAssist in maintaining a wide area network of 150 sites.The successful candidate will be a self-starter with: At least 5 years' experience in an Enterprise IT Engineer role.Experience in technologyExperience and knowledge of Active Directory/Microsoft Azure Active DirectoryExperience in SharePoint/SharePoint Online/TeamsAutomation, especially scripting with PowerShell, or other methods like AnsibleDemonstrated experience in the successful delivery of projects.A strong awareness of security systems and protocols.In return, we offer a rewarding long-term career, opportunities to develop, and a culture that values your contribution.
