About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer/Associate to joinour well-regarded Government Advisory team. Working alongsidePartner Mark Henry and the wider team, this role will focus onproviding merits review for a Commonwealth Government agency

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team andhave responsibility for your own matters. Day to day you will havethe following responsibilities:

Drafting summaries of evidence and statements ofissues.Assisting and attending case conferences and hearings.Conducting directions hearings.Drafting litigation strategies.Complex statutory interpretation.About you In order to be considered for this role, you will have thefollowing skills and experience:

Approximately 1-3 years post qualification experience,ideally with experience in government advisory work, and have astrong interest in administrative law and statutoryinterpretation.You may have a background of working in government and bekeen to make your first move into a law firm. Alternatively,you will be doing similar work in another firm and looking fora new opportunity.You will have strong drafting skills, excellentcommunication skills and a collegiate approach.In turn, you will have the opportunity to join a well-regardedteam with exposure to complex and high-profile work.
