Senior Project Manager

As the Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with key stakeholders on a large multi-year program, focusing on delivery within a PMO environment.

With a strategic focus on leveraging technology to enhance operations and deliver exceptional value to customers, our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead transformative projects that align with the business roadmap and strategy.

12 month hourly rate contract role. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee ICT and business transformation projects aligned with the organisation's roadmap and strategy.Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate strategic priorities into actionable project plans.Develop and execute comprehensive project strategies, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.Manage project resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and consultants, to deliver high-quality outcomes within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.Drive collaboration and communication, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying issues and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, guiding stakeholders through the digital transformation journey and facilitating change management efforts as needed.Experience: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and PMBOK.Experience in project management, with a focus on digital transformation, business process optimisation, and ICT projects.Proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, delivering tangible business outcomes and value.Strong understanding of digital technologies, business processes, and industry best practices, with the ability to leverage technology to drive innovation and competitive advantage.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and adapting to changing business needs.Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, analytical acumen, and a passion for driving positive change and transformation.Location: Adelaide SA, hybrid working environment, 100% remote not available.
