Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to: Assist in the preparation & implementation of health and safety plansComplete risk assessments, audits, task observations and safety investigationsComplete and maintain any documentation required on the project as per the Federal Safety Accreditation and ISO Accreditation requirementsEnsure relevant legislation is adhered toProvide training and support to the team membersManage and develop relationships with employees and stakeholdersEssential Skills required undertaking this role: Must have a minimum 5 years' WH&S experience on TMR road infrastructure projects & conducted related Audits.Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislationExperience working on road construction projects in the rural environmentTime management and task prioritisation capabilities, with an ability to meet deadlines and manage pressureExcellent communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsQualified in OHSThe proposed hours are 36-45 per week, however longer hours & weekend work may be required to suit work load. The role is Logan Region / QLD based and preference would be given to someone who is local to the project within the Sth Brisbane to Gold Coast within an hours drive of Jimboomba.

 

You must have: the right to work in Australia, with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills and a current drivers licence.
