Freedom Of Information (Foi) Officers - Federal Government

Randstad is currently recruiting for multiple Freedom of Information (FOI) Officers to work within a busy Government Agency located in the CBD. This will require a high level of administrative skills, resilience, and ability to be agile in a changing environment.$43 - $55 per hour + SuperannuationFull Time Hours, Monday - FridayLong-term contractAbout the roleRegistering and documenting FOI requests, preparing and distributing FOI acknowledgement emails.Undertaking procedures to assist with creating, processing and making decisions to ensure all matters are recorded correctly on all databases in accordance with the FOI Act.Providing administrative support Assisting in developing systems, processes and tools to support FOI handling and awareness.Providing administration access where necessary to various agency databasesAssisting with the release and closure of FOI matters.Skills and ExperienceExperience with the FOI Act (or State/Territory equivalent) will be highly regarded.Previous case management, project management, legal backgroud or Priavacy Processes will be highly regarded. Strong customer service and communication skillsHighly organised, excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processesCompetent with IT & ability to navigate multiple systems and databasesAbility to manage competing priorities and be agile in a changing environmentExperience in stakeholder management, both with internal and external stakeholdersPlease note: For Federal Government opportunities, all potential candidates must be Australian Citizens What's in it for you?
