We are looking for a talented Operations Manager to join our team based in Hume, Canberra. The role provides a great opportunity to continue to grow the business and lead the service and parts teams. This is a hands-on management role and you will be responsible for managing a modern and strategic branch in Hume that predominately supports our On-Highway customers. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Lead, motivate, develop, and engage a complete team of technicians and office staff. Champion Cummins leadership behaviors, mission, vision, and values. Ensure all health, safety & environmental policies, procedures, and legislation are followed, and create an interdependent safety culture. Build strong customer and OEM partner relationships. Develop and implement business growth plans to improve the customer experience. Manage sales, profitability, expenses, WIP and service KPIs in line with regional AOP. To be successful in this role you will need the following: Proven experience as a leader, with a strong focus on HSE, RWE and talent management from a similar industry, with a good understanding of the transport industryis highly desirable. Have highly developed communication and influencing skills. Be able to build strong, value creating customer relationships. Have the ability to balance the needs of employees, customers, shareholders and communities.
