To continue to deliver for our community, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager People & Performance to join our leadership group. Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the Manager People & Performance plays a vital role in shaping the organisational culture and ensuring that our staff are engaged, inspired, and supported to achieve our strategic objectives. A significant body of work has been undertaken to establish the strategic direction of the department, with the successful candidate responsible for implementing and delivering on this work through their role as a key advisor and influencer of the leadership group and organisation. This role will provide you the opportunity to: Execute the overall strategy to build a high-performance organisation and culture to enhance Council's service levels, employment brand, employee experience and reputation with staff and the community Manage relationships across Council, partnering with all areas to enable organisational performance and capability through leadership, workplace relations, corporate performance, organisational design, and workforce planning. Drive initiatives in the Leadership Team that contribute to long-term organisational excellence linking the Community Vision, Council Plan, workforce plans and workforce planning. Lead a team of experienced, passionate, and experienced professionals in the design and delivery of end-to-end People & Performance activities that build an engaged and high-performing organisation. Our ideal candidate will have: A tertiary qualification in Organisational Development, Organisation Behaviour or Human Resource Management (or similar) sufficient to gain member status of the Australian Human Resource Institute Substantial experience in organisational performance and business improvement processes, change management and human resource management. A record of achievement in leading the strategic planning, operational planning and the development and delivery of end-to-end human resources. Demonstrated skills and experience in developing systems and work practices that increase accountability and ensure the planning and resourcing to deliver Councils goals and objectives. Demonstrated success in managing and motivating staff and developing a customer-focused, productive team culture. * Don't meet every single requirement?
