Warehouse Manager

Hands and Feet are a not for profit organisation who provide help in times of need for the poor, vulnerable, widows, orphans and people with disabilities. Our warehouse at Manly West QLD is used to collect, sort and distribute food to people in need.Hands and Feet are looking for a competent warehouse manager to be employed on a permanent full-time basis. (38 hours a week).The role generally will involve working under the leadership of the Community Care Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of collecting and distributing food to people in need. The following activities would be expected of the successful applicant:Manage the day to day operations of the warehouse.Plan and develop efficient logistical processes for the collection and distribution of food, keeping records in our logistics software (Crittah).Manage staff and volunteersManage the upkeep of the warehouse plant and vehicles.Maintaining a clean warehouse ensuring we maintain health standards as we handle food.Ensure any rubbish is collected and disposed of economically and appropriatelyProvide access to the warehouse when necessary.
