Our client is looking for an experienced Project/Facilities Manager to be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This is a role that requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. Please note, to apply applicants must have the following: The requisite skill and experience defined below, At least Australian Permanent Residence working rights, At least 5+ year's relevant local working experience in the Project/Facilities Management field. The high-level requirements for the role are: initially a 6-month contract role, with likely extension. Ideally looking for an Infrastructure/Facilities/Maintenance Project Manager with good practical project experience. Data Centre Layouts, Rack Installation, Cabling, Power Distribution and UPS configuration and Management. Manage, controls and liaises with 3rd party technicians (electricians, cablers, fitters). Works closely with server and networking teams. Manage external partners for delivery. Tullamarine Location Experience Required: Project Management qualifications mandatory (Prince2, PMBOK, PMP, AIPM or CPPP). 5+ year's experience of IT Project/Facilities Management within complex organisations (Tier 1 or 2). Excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to work with a varied number and type of stakeholders from across the business. Experience in managing vendors as part of the projects delivery. Additionally, Project Managers should possess high levels of the below skills to perform well in the role: Written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised, able to prioritise work and run multiple projects simultaneously while working autonomously or collaboratively. Leadership skills. Attention to detail. Conflict resolution skills. A quality control mindset. Reporting: Report on the initiative progress within program of work against delivery, quality, cost, and time commitments. Implement, monitor, and report on project activities including milestone delivery, resource allocation, issue management, risk management and mitigation. Consolidating the teams initiatives and reporting progress to key stakeholders. Notes: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Your daily rate will depend on skills and experience.
