About the Role
The Administration Assistant is accountable for providing clerical support to the Annual Influenza Vaccination Clinic & the Infection Prevention & Control Team. The Administration Assistant will be involved in administration duties of the team, such as data entry, email box management. The Administration Assistant will actively participate in the achievement of Hospital objectives whilst ensuring patient confidentially is preserved at all times.
The classification for this position will be HS14 ($60,205.60 per annum pro rata).
Duties
Data entry and maintaining data from the Infection Prevention & Control Team and Employee Health records
Participates in identifying and implementing appropriate interventions to meet best practice
Brings identified areas for improvement to attention of Infection Prevention & Control team
Displays and encourages questioning of practices and procedures
Generate reports for relevant departments and clinical areas
Qualification, Skills and Experience
Previous administration experience in a health setting
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
