We've grown from a performance background into media. This now leads us to creative opportunities and the ability to use our owned- and client-data on audiences, channels, creative to optimise and evolve - creating market-leading visual content that drives performance for our clients.

The Video Editor is a newly created role - It's an exciting opportunity for someone to build their own role and success, whilst being supported by the Sparro content team. The role will be tailored to the individual's strengths and experience.

Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to complete the Sparro Leadership Training - advanced, hands-on training and workshops conducted by the Sparro leadership team that aim to skill our team with strategic and client leadership skills.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on, semi-autonomous role where the Editor will create and develop visual content.It's an exciting opportunity for someone to build their own role and success. The role will be tailored to the individual's strengths and experience, but may cover the following.

Creating and editing live action and motion graphic content for digital marketing campaigns, including paid social and display ads

Creating content for Sparro social media, website and collateral

Staying on top of video editing trends and innovative styles

Improving media performance by benchmarking and iterating creative

Continually integrate skills, experience and working practices to improve problem solving, organisation and strategic thinking

Develop knowledge and an understanding of digital marketing strategy and concepts

Work closely with our Senior Leads to help set the strategic direction for our digital activities

Supporting content leads on daily ad-hoc tasks

YOU

You will be a confident, emerging editor that wants to test and collaborate across all channels.We're looking for a self-starter with energy, ideas and an innovative approach. The role will be well-supported with training and mentoring.

1-2 years of experience as a video editor or in a similar role

Proven experience in motion design

Understanding of Adobe's Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition and Illustrator

Proficient knowledge of sound and music to enhance video content

No previous digital or agency experience is required. Skills and experience within marketing - writing, design, video or creative ideation - will be highly-valued.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Industry Training /01

Senior leaders and business partners will run weekly workshops and formal training sessions across a range of hard and soft skills - social media, public relations, award submissions and SEO.

All sessions are available to the Video Editor where interested.

Mentoring + Support /02

Our Video Editor will be directly mentored by the Content & Brand Lead and have ongoing interactions with other senior leaders.
