Job Description:Expeditors International of Washington is seeking a highly skilled Web Chat Manager to join our team based in Melbourne, Victoria, AU. This is a part-time position with a mid-to-senior level of seniority, requiring at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the web chat team, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries and issues.- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and optimize chat operations.- Train and mentor web chat agents, providing guidance and support as needed.- Monitor chat interactions for quality assurance and provide feedback to agents.- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer concerns.- Analyze chat data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to web chat management.- Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on team performance and challenges.
Requirements:- Confident and resourceful personality traits.- Strong leadership and people management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Proven experience in web chat management or a similar role.- Familiarity with chat platforms and customer service software.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
