Senior Environmental Scientist (Impact Assessment)

Our ACT & Southern NSW Environmental group is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist , specialising in impact assessments and approvals . Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: •    Collaborating on the delivery of major Future Energy, Water, Transport, Defence, and Infrastructure Projects •    Providing creative solutions to fit the needs of our clients and communities •    Developing and maintaining client relations •    Making technical decisions, preparing technical reports, management plans and strategies •    Leading and contributing to the preparation of proposals and bids for projects •    Coordinating the work of the team, mentoring junior and mid-level team members •    Building strong collaborative relationships within GHD regionally and nationally. What you will bring to the team: •    Relevant industry experience in impact assessments •    Technical competence in environmental planning and approvals, environmental impact assessment, due diligence, land use planning and post approvals •    Project management and delivery skills  •    Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing, evaluating, and solving problems to brief and budget. •    Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely. •    Relevant tertiary qualification  Interested?
