Our ACT & Southern NSW Environmental group is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist , specialising in impact assessments and approvals . Leading the delivery of environmental approvals across the region on multi-disciplinary and diverse projects, you will be working in a team of collaborative and driven people.  Join us as we strive to ensure a sustainable future for our communities and the world we live in.  Become part of our global network of skilled engineers, scientists, auditors, planners and environmental specialists, all working together to leave this world better than we found it. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: •    Collaborating on the delivery of major Future Energy, Water, Transport, Defence, and Infrastructure Projects •    Providing creative solutions to fit the needs of our clients and communities •    Developing and maintaining client relations •    Making technical decisions, preparing technical reports, management plans and strategies •    Leading and contributing to the preparation of proposals and bids for projects •    Coordinating the work of the team, mentoring junior and mid-level team members •    Building strong collaborative relationships within GHD regionally and nationally. What you will bring to the team: •    Relevant industry experience in impact assessments •    Technical competence in environmental planning and approvals, environmental impact assessment, due diligence, land use planning and post approvals •    Project management and delivery skills  •    Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing, evaluating, and solving problems to brief and budget. •    Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely. •    Relevant tertiary qualification  Interested?
