We are looking for an ambitious Logistics Coordinator to join our team at CARS24 in Sydney, Australia. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our first and mid-mile logistics runs smoothly and the most cost-efficient manner, which will assist our organisation to achieve our operating plan targets. Responsibilities include: Ensuring that all inbound and outbound vehicle movements from internal yards are recorded Prepare vehicles for outbound logistics Update and track the location of all vehicles in the inventory and make sure data is correctly captured in inventory system Ensure all vehicles in the yard are accounted for at any point in time Make logistics bookings with 3PLs Carrying out daily stock checks in inventory system to identify any potential issues, bottlenecks (i.e. purchased vehicles waiting to be picked up, allocated or not yet allocated), purchased vehicles in transit or have arrived at the refurbishment centre (hub) Troubleshooting and investigating any discrepancies that may arise from incorrect vehicles being received at the yard within predetermined time frames Ensure compliance with operational network standards and adhere to all SOPs Positive and enthusiastic team player - teamwork makes the dream work Ensure that Cars24 practices are relevant to our business. This includes policy, procedures, and SOPs. Examples of legislations which govern compliance include Chain of Responsibility Legislation, Workplace Health and Safety, and Fair Work Act Requirements: Ability to manage multiple tasks at once Superior attention to detail Experience in using Google Sheets Experience of working in a high volume, fast-paced and dynamic environment Prior exposure to automotive logistics is advantageous Experience in using any inventory management software Excellent verbal & written communication skills Strong organisational and time management skills All applicants must be prepared to undergo a police and background check Benefits: Competitive pay: full-time salary based on experience Performance based bonuses, Monthly Phone allowance and more Career Progression: Ground-up opportunity, build a big business from scratch and shape the strategic direction of the market, changing the way Australians buy cars Amazing people & network.
