Prosecutor Grade 5- Criminal Practice Manager Full-time PermanentDetails:The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is the independent prosecution authority of the Australian Capital Territory. It comprises the Director of Public Prosecutions, an independent statutory officer, and staff employed under thePublic Sector Management Act 1994 , to assist the Prosecutor Grade 5 - Criminal Practice Manger position has been established to support the Deputy Director - Head of Criminal Practice in the management and oversight of the Criminal successful applicant will assist the Deputy Director - Head of Criminal Practice to provide the necessary leadership and support to the Criminal Practice including by in consultation with the Deputy Director exercising the discretion to initiate, vary and discontinue serious criminal charges, effectively managing the Office workload, preparing and maintaining office training materials and working closely with the Deputy Director and Director on projects as position will be a largely non-court-based role and the Criminal Practice Manager will not carry their own Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions supports workforce diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
