About the role Our Adelaide team is growing, and we are looking for a locally based Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in the mining, infrastructure utilities and manufacturing industries, for current and ongoing projects. You will be a detail-oriented Engineer, with project, site or consultancy experiences capable of working from initial concept, through coordination of detailed design, to installation and commissioning. Key Skills & Experience : Relevant (4+ years) and current Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering experience, Clear understanding of AS/NZS 3000:2018 and requirements, Interpret and apply relevant standards and specifications in the design process, Design exposure to LV and HV system design and cable sizing, PLC and Remote IO panel wiring, protection systems, substations, instrumentation, motor controls and switchboards, Testing and commissioning experience (FAT, SAT) will be added value, Experience with engineering works in mining and/or infrastructure (ex: Watercorp) and/or Utilities, Preparing technical documentation including study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications and datasheets, Prepare and review electrical drawings including single line diagrams, schematics and terminations, Can self-monitor progress, productivity and schedule on tasks, Exposure to AutoCAD and/or Micro station drawing packages will be added value, Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget and to Verbrec and client standards, Ability to maintain engineering standards across all designs and projects, Be willing to work onsite to support clients and perform project tasks.
