Job Description Are you a forward-thinking Procurement professional, with a strong background in sourcing of direct materials, looking to join a global ASX listed blue chip organisation? As part of the APAC Procurement team, your role will be to develop and execute direct spend sourcing strategies across the region. The key responsibilities of this role include Delivery of all annual project plans and targets in line with agreed procurement strategies Tracking of approved actualised savings monthly. Ensure a sound understanding of strategic and operational business priorities is applied by procurement, including, assessment of external factors impacting the category and global procurement priorities. Build effective relationships with all relevant Business Stakeholders to ensure Procurement is leveraged early in the process for required goods & services. Ensure Contract Management is undertaken inline with the global procurement policy. Ensure Supplier Performance & Relationship Management processes are undertaken as required for your designated indirect category to improve the performance of key suppliers and to ensure business plans are created with strategic suppliers. The Successful Applicant You will be successful in this this role if you are able to demonstrate: Strong direct procurement experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain environment Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills A self-starter, curious and able to work autonomously at times You are comfortable working with complex supply chains Directs sourcing experience in related industries is highly regarded.
