Assistant Head of Department - Social Science Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney's North Shore. We are seeking an Assistant Head of Department and Social Science Teacher to support the Head of Social Science at Ravenswood. As the Assistant Head of Department, you will be an experienced and exceptional classroom teacher. This position is responsible for supporting the Head of Department in the continuous improvement and delivery of the Social Science curriculum for Years 7 â 12 and including the HSC and International Baccalaureate Diploma subjects. At Ravenswood, NESA and HSC subjects include Geography, Commerce, Society and Culture, Economics and Business Studies. IB Diploma Subjects include: IB Business Management, IB Economics, IB Global Politics and IB Psychology. To be successful in this position, you will be an experienced educator with a proven record of success as a senior Social Science Teacher. The preferred candidate should have experience in teaching IBDP Business Management, HSC Business Studies and 7-10 Commerce.
