About the role Join ACMI as our Communications Assistant and work with our creative and supportive Brand & Marketing Team. This full-time fixed term role (4 months) provides administrative, publicity and social media support to the communications team, working collaboratively with the Senior Publicist and Content & Social Media Advisor. Reporting directly to the Head of Communications, the Communications Assistant works with stakeholders across ACMI and externally. The role is designed to expand your skills in all facets of PR. What you'll bring to the role * Experience in the field of media, communications, public relations or related field. * An understanding of the Australian media landscape, specifically the relationship between social media, advertising content, and editorial. * Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, community groups and key influencers across the arts, culture, design and entertainment media landscape. * Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task. * Your passion for the arts, with an interest in key areas within ACMI's remit including film, TV, videogames, art, education, public programs and development. What we offer * Full-time fixed term role for 4 months.
