What you will be doing: As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be applying testing techniques to help ensure our software products and services are fit for purpose. Our Quality Assurance Analysts: Develop test scenarios from a variety of information sources, including functional/non-functional specifications, defects, and project documentation Create and execute test cases aligned to defined scenarios, ensuring appropriate breadth & depth of testing Create and/or source test data required to execute test cases Analyse test results against expected results and develop skills in diagnosing root causes of defects Identify test results which do not meet expected results, raise defects that are well written with the appropriate level of information, following up defects topletion Contribute to expanding and maintaining our test repository, including our suite of automated tests, data and test tools Help the team continuously improve by raising improvement suggestions across a range of forums including retrospectives, and cross-team meetings What You Bring: We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following: Ability to work in a very fast paced environment Great team player Quality & customer-first mindset Understanding of the various phases/types of testing and their purpose Experience creating test scenarios and test cases from business and/or technical documents/artefacts Experience executing test cases using appropriately sourced test data Ability to raise defects and a working knowledge of at least one defect management tool JIRA Exposure to, or experience with, test automation tools/frameworks Knowledge or experience testing web services Enjoys working within and across teams Ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks Excellent written and verbalmunication skills Problem solving capabilities and ownership Added Bonus if You Have: Experience working with any Banking Systems like payments or cards systems Ability to work from Business level specifications and work with Business staff with testing and systems practices Experience testing Web Services and APIs Knowledge of Visa/Mastercard Schemes Formal training in testing methodology Experience in developing testing scripts from Functional Specification Documents.
