Front-Of-House Manager

A personable and passionate individual with a keen interest and experience in customer service, awesome food and coffee, as well as people management to join us as Front-of-House Manager.Set away from the hustle and bustle of High St Northcote, the Red Door Corner Store is a destination Brunch and Coffee venue that prides itself on house-made quality fare, outstanding service and a warm wholesome environment for our customers and employees to enjoy.This unique business requires a Floor Manager who is a hospitality professional with an eye for details and understands the devotion and enthusiasm required to keep our cafe buzzing along as it should. The successful candidate will help oversee a Front of House division of approximately 15 employees. The candidate should be an experienced waiter, have a strong interest in coffee (making, drinking and preferably both), brunch fare and baked goods, have sound administrative and organisational skills, and demonstrate some leadership attributes.The candidate will report to the Cafe Manager and will assist with the following:1) Rostering and staffing of operational positions in the FOH;2) Training, morale and discipline of the FOH team;3) Ordering and stock control, including co-ordinating with the Kitchen team where there are shared suppliers;4) Management of the Point-of-Sale (Ordermate), including its up-keep and accuracy;5) Upkeep of all general and public/staff areas of the cafe; and6) Seamless day-to-day operation of the cafe as well as adherence to operating procedures and policies.Suitable candidates wanting more flexible hours (3 days minimum) may be considered.
