Cloud Network Security Engineer - F5 Sme

Hudson is partnering with a globally listed ASX company seeking an experienced Cloud/Network Security Engineer to integrate into their private cloud team. This role supports all dimensions of Network and Security Infrastructure for their on-premises cloud, while also playing an active role in continuous improvement initiatives and projects throughout their infrastructure.Position Responsibilities Ensure the continuous availability and robust security of the network security platform across both internal and external hosted environments.Advocate for continuous improvement, refining processes to achieve the highest levels of maturity.Assess network security architecture, designs, and configurations against industry best practices, providing recommendations and implementing resilient, scalable, and secure solutions.Collaborate with Monitoring and Operations Teams to deploy advanced Monitoring\Observability solutions.Work with Operations Teams to operationalize all Network and Security components of the private cloud. Key experience and knowledge: Extensive experience in enterprise-level Engineering with on-premise Data Centre SDDC Network/Security technologies, utilizing F5, Checkpoint, Cisco, and NSX.F5: Proficiency in designing, implementing, delivering, and supporting solutions such as SAML IDP, WAF, GTM/LTM, APM\VPN, DDoS\Attack prevention, proficient in interpreting and creating complex F5 iRules.Checkpoint: Expertise in designing, implementing, and delivering solutions encompassing firewall Policy Management, IPS, and BOT detection.NSX: Proficient in designing, implementing, and delivering solutions utilizing NSX.Possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, alongside a commitment to responsible and ethical practices.
