This role will see you becoming the 'go-to' or subject matter expert for any design-related matters, from idea to strategy to product improvement and performance.VENTORA is focused on future growth by releasing unique new products that you will assist in designing and supporting.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and improve products using lean methodologiesDesign, develop and improve products from concept/design scope to proof of developed conceptProject manage activities, as well as coordinating the implementation of changesActively improve processes where opportunities are identified and existWork closely with the Product Implementation team to resolve design details or discrepanciesCollaborate with Product Management to identify and visualise product opportunitiesIn conjunction facilitate design research activities and ideation workshopsTranslate insights and ideas into viable design strategies and conceptsPresent design work using a diverse toolkit ( sketches, storyboards, 3D renders, CAD drawings, and physical prototypes)Continual research into new design products, technologies and processesWork closely with Procurement to identify suitable manufacturing partnersWork with Product Management to manage the product lifecycle across the full rangePrepare and provide all relevant documentation for your design workAbout You Minimum 2 years experience in product design, windows or doors (highly desirable)Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, and/or EngineeringUnderstanding of building standards and legislationHands-on experience with collaborating with cross-functional teamsSkills in graphic design, sketching, CAD, and 3D modellingDemonstrable design portfolio of work that illustrates the capability to meet business needsExperience with a range of materialsContinuous Improvement Knowledge (Lean methodologies)Understanding of marketing principles ( Tollgate processes)Ability to adopt software systems seamlesslyExperience in multi-national businessManufacturing or similar industry experience (highly desirable)What's On OfferFlexible working arrangements offering 2 days WFH after 6 month probationOngoing training and career developmentA competitive remuneration packageGenerous discounts on our extensive range of productsOn-site parkingAbility to schedule leave every year at ChristmasAdditional paid day's leave on your birthdayIf you believe you can bring your design skills and experience that will help VENTORA grow its range of products this is the opportunity for you,
