Squiz is embarking on an exciting migration program to migrate our client's Search and Content management systems solutions from datacentre hosting to SaaS. To get us there we're looking for talented System Administrators (4 ANZ, 4 UK) to work with us on a 2 year fixed term contract . You will be embedded in a global team known for great culture and innovation, as we strive to continuously improve our processes and deliver best practice solutions to our customers. We have positions available in the UK and Australia & New Zealand and you'll be working on migrating our national and international client base. Key Responsibilities will include: Migrating customer solutions to SaaS Working with Developers and Project Managers to implement changes required for SaaS  Troubleshooting of application/system/network problems, including functional and performance issues. Work effectively with other teams in the business to deliver the best outcome for the customers. To be successful in this role your skills will include: Must Haves Solid hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS 7/8) systems. Good understanding of Internet technologies and protocols (TCP/IP stack, DNS, HTTP, SSL etc). Good understanding of Web technologies (HTTP caching, CDN, proxy, WAF as well as modern web security). Experience with version control (Git/SVN) and configuration management (Puppet, Ansible) systems. Experience managing web servers (Nginx/Apache, PHP-FPM) as well as databases (Postgresql and/or MySQL). A keen eye and respect for data, including loss prevention and security Nice to Have Experience in coding in at least one of the scripting languages (bash, Python, Perl etc) is required. PHP experience is a plus. Experience conducting load and performance testing & tuning Be able to communicate technical information to non technical people in a clear and concise manner. Knowledge of containerisation of applications using Docker is a plus. Understanding of AWS services and Cloudflare Experience in delivering scalable SaaS products. Note: Passing a Police check and/or security clearance may be required.
