The role is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering programmed and reactive maintenance services for Council buildings to a high-quality standard within the required timeframes and budget. The roleWe are seeking a Team Leader Building Maintenance to join an amazing and supportive Team. Reporting to the Manager City Works, your role is to: Play a critical role in overseeing a high-impact team that delivers maintenance across various assetsGrow and develop the team, ensuring that the values and behaviours set are adhered to dailyPrepare and administer building maintenance contracts, implement effective contract management practices, and lead the planning and delivery of the Building and Facilities Building Maintenance Renewal ProgramLead, manage, and assist with the delivery of Council After Hours Services About youWe are looking for someone who: Has formal qualifications in a relevant field including demonstrated significant experience in a similar buildings & facilities management/maintenance roleIs a proven collaborator and is committed to continuous improvementCan lead a dynamic and high-impact team to deliver maintenance programs for all Council building assets and facilitiesHas strong communication skills and an ability to embed and maintain a positive culture that will inspire the team and the wider organization through collaboration, trust, and accountability What we can offerThis is a full-time permanent position.
