The Red Door Corner Store is a destination breakfast, lunch and coffee spot located just off High Street in Northcote.We are looking for a candidate with some experience in making specialty and high-volume coffee, who is a great team player and can meaningfully contribute to our stakeholders.Training & Development with some of Melbourne's premier specialty coffee roastersWork on advanced equipment with quality productsThe position would best suit an individual who has some coffee experience and is looking to take it further in a supportive and skilled environment.The successful candidate must:Be available on weekends;Have some experience or an interest in the specialty coffee scene;Have an understanding of or interest in filter coffee and tea brewing;Be able to take on various roles behind the bar;Be a team player, humble, willing to learn;Demonstrate initiative and interest in various parts of the cafe; andBe customer-oriented.The role is full-time and day hours.
