Be part of the team that's up for the challenge of transforming lives for good.Are you up for the challenge?In the newly created role of General Manager IT Project Delivery & Change reporting to our Chief Digital and Information Officer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of IT projects and change initiatives across John Holland, providing a clear roadmap for the delivery of IT investments and change, and driving continuous improvement and innovation in IT project delivery and change management practices and processes. You will provide strategic direction, guidance, development, and support to IT project managers and teams to drive meaningful change and ensure compliance with quality standards, policies, and procedures People are at the heart of everything we do, so building strong relationships and trust with stakeholders at all levels within the business will be critical to the success of this position. Join us as a key player in the acceleration of our digital transformation.About the roleProject Planning and Delivery: Planning and successful delivery of projects requiring IT enablement across the company, including budget, timeframe and quality scope delivery. This also includes hands on delivery for key initiatives Develop and implement the IT project and change management framework, methodology, and best practices - including requirements documentation, scoping, Agile and Waterfall approaches Creation and management of the delivery roadmap Plan and execute resourcing required to deliver projects, including augmentation with contractor capacity as required Change management and training across IT systems and projects, including the portfolio impact of change to manage impacts / do-ability Leadership: Effectively communicate a complex roadmap of change with dependency identification so as to influence the sequence of activity to maximise value for the organisation Use emotional intelligence, influence and diplomacy to develop relationships and lead teams through difficult decisions and conversations around prioritisation and investment Represent IT on Executive Steering Committees Enterprise Architecture: Responsible for the Enterprise Architecture capability which supports Business, Application, Data, Security and Infrastructure Architecture Establish robust governance around architecture decisioning Custodian of roadmap and ensuring our portfolio addresses legacy systems, decommissioning and aligned principle led focus What we are looking for Substantial senior management experience including leading teams within an IT environment Proven track record in delivering complex IT solutions to an enterprise environment - specific experience in Operations Management Systems and Payroll systems would be advantageous Exceptional ability to influence senior leaders and build trust Strong experience in both waterfall and agile environments Understanding of Enterprise Architecture functions Experience in influencing to drive organisational change Experience developing and maintaining strong networks and channels to engage with stakeholders As part of the team, you can help us transform lives.Your success is reflected in ours, so we're committed to being an employer of choice.
