* The position includes diversity across multiple portfolios * Has the ability to directly influences on ground program delivery * Forms part of high functioning leadership team * Manages inspiring environmental and cultural landscapes About the role The Area Chief Ranger, Northern Peninsula has a team of 16 Ranger staff that deliver all aspects of land management. The Area Chief Ranger provides strategic direction and leadership to three direct reports and be accountable for financial management, stakeholder engagement, works coordination, safety, work centre management and customer/ministerial enquiries. The Northern Peninsula landscape includes some of Victorias most scenic locations such as Arthurs Seat State Park, Devilbend Natural Features Reserve, The Pines Flora and Fauna Reserve, Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve, Frankston Nature Conservation Reserve and French Island National Park.
