As part of our team, you'll have access to exceptional in-house training programs, competitive compensation, and abundant opportunities for career advancement.   As our in-venue Events Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring the success of our functions and events.   Your responsibilities will include: Developing and executing strategic promotional and marketing concepts Meeting financial targets for functions and events Building strong relationships with corporate clients, community groups, and local sporting clubs Coordinating networking events to showcase our top-notch function spaces Collaborating with local businesses and event companies to enhance community engagement Managing bookings and maintaining a strong presence on relevant platforms Presenting function spaces to prospective clients with flair and professionalism Planning and executing major internal and external events Budgeting and reporting to ensure financial success What we're looking for: Minimum of 2 years experience in Functions and Events in a hospitality environment Events qualification desirable but not necessary Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent time management and attention to detail Passion for the industry and a strong sales culture Experience in financial aspects of events RSA certificate Why choose The Sporting Globe?
