Help shape the future of children in our careAs one of our highly valued Educators, you'll support and guide children's learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.At C&K Mooloolaba Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 0 to 5 years old and provide care and early learning five days a week from 6:30am to 6:15pm.C&K Mooloolaba Childcare Centre is a branch service of C&K. This early childhood education centre began with Maroochy Shire Council in 1982 and transitioned to C&K in 2007. Since 1982 this centre has played an important part in the lives of hundreds of children and their families in and around this local area.Here at C&K Mooloolaba we have large natural play spaces including trees, scrubs, 2 large sandpits, decks, a vegetable garden with water tank, a bush tucker garden, swings and a fort. We value the importance of playing in and learning from natural environments and encourage the native wildlife with bird feeders and have 2 chickens, Henny Penny and Milly, as well as our own stingless native bees hive in the vegetable garden. Our centre is welcoming and friendly with a homely feel and comprises of three play rooms and we provide nappies for the children in our Nursery and Pre-Kindy age groups.Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you'll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.What you'll bringWhether you're an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you're energetic, fun and committed to guiding children's early learning and development, we'll set you up for success!To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards: A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
