Chief Financial Officer Key leadership opportunity for a growth focused CFO Work for a global leader in the mining equipment industry Brisbane based A global specialist in mining equipment, this Australian based organisation has experienced exponential growth in key international markets and continues to expand. Key to driving their future success will be an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will provide strong financial leadership to the Board and CEO and represent the organisation externally to key stakeholders, potential investors, and possible M&A targets. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Board, you will lead, develop, and grow a finance team focused on ensuring strong corporate governance, accurate, timely and detailed financial reporting, fit for purpose financial systems and processes, the evaluation of M&A opportunities, and the planning and execution of capital raising to support future growth. As an experienced leader, you will inspire and lead an effective finance team, yet bring a down-to-earth, personable style to your interactions at all levels of the business. You will be highly self-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Being risk-conscious without being risk-averse, your influencing skills combined with your strategic financial leadership will assist in driving future business decisions and supporting the organisation to achieve its goals. To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced CFO who excels not only with the financial aspects of the role, but is also well versed in communicating and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholder groups, including banks and other financial institutions regarding capital, capital structuring and advisory. You have strong corporate governance expertise, ideally gained in an ASX listed environment at some point in your career, and demonstrate the ability to evaluate M&A opportunities in the context of the business' strategic objectives and goals.
