Job VacancyADVERT AND / OR MINIMUM CRITERIAWe seek a highly motivated and innovative leader to develop and deliver quality service across Children's Services in Midlothian. You will be responsible for cultivating and growing a skilled and committed workforce using a best practice approach to inspire and lead others. Alongside performance management and having good financial acumen you will develop and implement service strategies to meet need and address any gaps or areas for improvement. Your portfolio will include being responsible for a variety of individual managers and teams as well as driving forward change and ensuring continuous improvement.You will have a key role in working with stakeholders and participants across Midlothian to deliver a seamless, transformational disability service alongside service provisions at a strategic, operational, and individual level. This will include having a lead role in the development and remodelling of sustainable services to meet current and projected need for children and families impacted by neurodiversity, learning disabilities, complex behaviours, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties.We will provide you with excellent formal and informal opportunities for learning and development, generous leave entitlement, flexible working, depending on the service need.
